Planning Matters
Blakeney Parish Council receives a copy of all planning applications sent to North Norfolk District Council which relate to the parish. These are available to view on the North Norfolk District Council website www.north-norfolk.gov.uk
The website will also provide you with any Environmental Impact Assessment Notices and Decisions made in relation to planning applications. It will also list any Appeals. If you have any observations with regards to the applications, please send them to North Norfolk District Council by the closing application date, including the application number as the main point of reference.
You will find links to the agendas for our forthcoming and past meetings below. (NB – Due to Covid 19, scheduled meetings have not been taking place, instead delegated authority has been given to the Parish Clerk/RFO, in consultation with the Chairman and Vice Chairman until further notice.) We are to hold a virtual meeting on Tuesday 25th August 2020 – see below.

Tuesday 5th September 2023 – The following planning applications will also be considered in addition to those listed; i) PF/23/1825 – Erection of single storey holiday lodge at; Hilltop Retreats, Langham Road, Blakeney & ii) PF/23/1791 – Installation of replacement oil tank at; Hill House New Road, Blakeney.
Tuesday 1st August 2023 – NNDC have asked BPC to consider the following also this evening; Revised Planning app. no. PF/23/1330 – Charnwood, Pintail Drive, Blakeney; Single storey extensions and external alterations to dwelling.

Tuesday 2nd May 2023 – Planning application no. LA/23/0910 – Melrose House, 107 High Street, Blakeney; Replacement of windows and doors. This application may also be discussed at this meeting. Also; Planning application no. PF/23/0894 – Richmond, Morston Road, Blakeney; Detached garage/boat store and widening of access/gateway. This application may also be discussed at this meeting.
Tuesday 10th January 2023 – Planning application no. RV/23/0018 – Cranford, High Street, Blakeney; Variation of condition 2 (approved plans) of planning permission PF/21/2307 (single storey extensions; removal of part of roof and extension to provide first floor accommodation; other external alterations) to allow additional window for bedroom 2 and relocation of air source heat pump. This application will also be discussed at this meeting.
2022
Tuesday 6th December 2022 – Planning application no. PF/22/2797 – The Wells, 3 The Pastures, Blakeney; Demolition of existing single storey rear extension and first floor stair access, and construction of a new first floor and single storey extension to form a habitable room on part of the original building footprint. This application also includes for replacing existing windows with energy efficient fittings and insertion of a window to the garage. This application will also be discussed at this meeting.
Monday 31st October 2022 (not Tuesday 1st Nov)
Tuesday 4th October 2022 – Planning application no. PF/22/2245 – Bliss Blakeney, Morston Road, Blakeney: Conversion of dwelling into two separate dwellings with associated external alterations and new boundary treatment. This application will be considered at this meeting.
Tuesday 5th April 2022 – Planning application no. PF/22/0834 – Galley Hill House, Langham Road; Demolition of stable and removal of static caravan; erection of single-storey triple-bay domestic garage, will also be considered at this meeting.
Tuesday 1st February 2022 – We have been asked to consider the current scenario with regard; Arcady, Holt Road, Cley-next-the-Sea.
